Manage Google Workspace in bulk
From inside Google Sheets
Create thousands of users, move them between organizational units, reset passwords, and manage groups and aliases — from a spreadsheet, with no programming. A practical alternative to Ok Goldy after it was discontinued.
One click · No installation · No new account · Your data never leaves your organization's account
Why do you need it now?
It was Ok Goldy the free tool that thousands of Google Workspace admins relied on for years. Its owner stopped maintaining it, and it began failing with the message Resource has been exhausted and it was never fixed.
Uruk Workspace This solves it at the root: your copy runs on your organization's own Google Cloud project. Your quota is yours alone, and no other user can exhaust it.
🙏 Thanks Goldy Arora
He provided Goldy Arora a free tool that saved thousands of admins years of manual work, and he did it for nothing in return. This project does not compete with his work but builds on it, and learns from the engineering lesson that its discontinuation revealed. Credit for the original idea goes to him.

Start within two minutes
Copy the template
One click creates a copy in your account with the tool built in.
Grant permissions
The first run asks for your approval, then run Check my access to confirm.
Fill in and execute
Create the template tables, fill them in, and run the process from the menu.
When opening a new copy for the first time, Google sometimes delays loading the script bound to the sheet
so the menu doesn't appear immediately. One page refresh fixes it, and it won't happen again after that.
❓ Do I need to enable anything in Google Cloud?
No. The tool calls the Admin SDK via an "advanced service" defined in the manifest file, and Google's documentation is explicit: the copy gets a default cloud project that enables the API automatically. No Cloud Console and no project numbers. You only need that if you deliberately link your own GCP project — and most users don't need it.
👤 What do I actually need?
An account Google Workspace Admin with permissions to manage users, organizational units, and groups. A personal Gmail account doesn't have a directory at all and won't work. Then run Setup ← Check my access to verify before any real data.
⚠️ «Google hasn’t verified this app»
Expected and safe here: you're granting permission to a script that you own inside your copy. Click Advanced ← Go to Uruk Workspace. And the code is in front of you in Extensions ← Apps Script And on GitHub — review it before approving, and this is what a closed tool does not allow.

Explicit comparison
We're not exaggerating — here's the full picture so you can decide for yourself.
| Criteria | Uruk Workspace | Ok Goldy | GW Manager |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cost | Free | Free | ~$200–250 per admin annually |
| Status | Maintained | Discontinued | Maintained |
| API quota | Your own project | Shared — exhausted | Managed |
| Source code | Open (MIT) | Closed | Closed |
| Users, units, and groups | ✔ | ✔ | ✔ |
| Trial mode before implementation | ✔ | ✘ | ✔ |
| Licenses and Chrome devices | ✘ | ✘ | ✔ |
| Timeline | ✘ | ✘ | ✔ |
Honestly: If you need license management, Chrome devices, or scheduling, then GW Manager is a mature product and worth its cost. But if you want to perform basic bulk operations for free with code you review yourself — this tool is enough for you.
Your data never leaves your organization
No intermediary server
The tool runs inside your account on Google Apps Script, and the connection is directly between your account and Google APIs. We at Erticaz do not see your users' data and technically cannot.
Open code for review
Every line is published under the MIT license on GitHub. Review it yourself or show it to your security team — and this is what you cannot do with a closed-source tool.
Try it now — for free
Copy the template and start within two minutes. And if you need customization, migration, or running at a wider scale, the Erticaz team is ready.
